Abstract As scale of misuse or abuse of mission critical assets of computer-based systems has increased, security are concerned with the prevention of such misuse or abuse. The systematic development of software considering the risks and the threats about security is increasingly recognized as critical to successful establishment of secure systems.

The aim of this workshop is to give a future direction as a and establish a new technology from the view point of software engineering for developing secure effectively. Especially, we will discuss about security requirements engineering and security design techniques produced by a security engineering project of GRACE center.
